Our Instructors

Diane Ortiz Diane Ortiz is President and founder of the Big Apple Motorcycle School. When not instructing, Diane rides a Yamaha FZ6 that she has converted into a sport tourer. George Tranos George Tranos is Vice President and an instructor at the Big Apple Motorcycle School. George rides a BMW R1150R and Triumph Sprint ST on the street and has a Yamaha 600 track bike. David Jones David Jones is an instructor at the Big Apple Motorcycle School. David owns many motorcycles – one of his favorites is his Honda Nighthawk 750. Randy Mittasch Randy Mittasch is an instructor at the Big Apple Motorcycle School. Randy rides a Honda ST1300. Ralph Angelo Ralph Angelo is an instructor at the Big Apple Motorcycle School. Ralph has a stable of motorcycles including a Yamaha FJR1200, YZF600R, Kawasaki GPz1100 and W650. Jerry Zuckerman Jerry Zuckerman is an instructor at the Big Apple Motorcycle School. Jerry rides a Honda ST1300. Felice Rizzitano Felice Rizzitano is an instructor at the Big Apple Motorcycle School. Felice rides a Honda Shadow. Steven Frank Steve Frank is an instructor at the Big Apple Motorcycle School. Steve rides a Suzuki VStrom 650. Monica Holmes Monica Holmes is an instructor at the Big Apple Motorcycle School. Monica rides a BMW R1200GS.
